About Us

Oakland Kochavim. The English translation of the Hebrew word Kochavim is Stars.

We are a passionate and sports minded adult group dedicated to bringing the enjoyment of 'street/ball' hockey to members of the Bay Area Jewish community.

Starting out in 2005 in an Oakland synagogue setting, our group has been steadily growing, encompassing members from other synagogues, and now people from the Bay Area at large.

Although we began as a Jewish 'street/ball' hockey club, we welcome and invite everyone’s participation regardless of religion, race, affiliation, or gender.
